Bear Cove Cottages

Inshore Light Tackle Fishing Safaris:

Bear Cove Cottages’ Baja Inshore Light- Tackle Adventure will test your angling skills on amazingly tough fish like Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Rooster Fish, Tuna, Toro, and Sierra. Using only top-quality gear, trolling or sight fishing for these fish really gives a hands-on experience. A more intimate fishery, as you feel the bite, set your own hook and hold on for the ride!

Join outdoors television host Mark Pendlington and adventure angler Wade Dayley in May 2022 for an exclusive inshore Dorado and Roosterfish school in the southern Baja of Mexico on the Sea of Cortez.

“These areas in Baja are some of my favourite places on earth and the schools are designed to capture the excitement of these fisheries, with top instructors and legendary locations that capture this unique Baja lifestyle.”

*These trips are conservation based trips and we have put them together to give our guests an opportunity to catch and angle the Chinook of a life time. This Outpost is in a location like no other. These runs of Chinook have been depleted over the years and are only now starting to make a come back. This is why we have implemented a catch and release rule that any Chinook over 30 lbs will be released.*
