Trip Advisor Review: Perfect place to stay while vacationing or fishing
We booked a fishing trip with Wicked Salmon Sport Fishing. Part of the package was a stay at the Bear Cove Cottages in Port Hardy BC. The cabins are amazing. Spotlessly clean and extremely well kept up. They are so well maintained they appear to be brand new inside and out. The bed was very comfortable and include a couple of bunks if more than two will be staying. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a BBQ if you wish to handle your own meals. The view from the deck is never ending. It looks directly out into the bay so you can watch the boats and ships coming and going. This is going to by our destination of choice when ever we go to the north end of Vancouver Island either for a getaway or fishing. Wade and our guide Lucas made us feel like old friends rather than customers. They know this area intimately and know exactly where the fish are. We have stayed in many hunting camps and fishing lodges and cabins but Wicked Salmon and Bear Cove Cottages are one of the very best. We highly recommend them.
